Tan Si Chong Su Temple
Exquisitely constructed in 1876, the Tan Si Chong Su Temple is the ancestral temple of the Tan clan in Singapore.
It also served as a meeting place for the clan.
Designed in the traditional style of southern Chinese temples, many of the temple's decorations are still well-preserved
after more than a hundred years.
Plaques and signboards in the temple educate visitors about its history.
Tan Si Chong Su Temple was gazetted as a national monument in 1974.
Please be advised to dress modestly if you are visiting this place of worship.
