Sri Thandayuthapani Temple

Sri Thandayuthapani Temple was built by the Nattukottai Chettiars in 1859 and is also known as the Chettiar's Temple.

It started as a small shrine under a bodhi tree.

Rebuilt in 1983, it is the oldest temple in Singapore devoted to Lord Murugan, second son of Lord Shiva.

The temple is the finishing point for the procession during Thaipusam.

Please be advised to dress modestly if you are visiting this place of worship.
