Gurdwara Sahib Silat Road (Silat Road Sikh Temple)
Gurdwara Sahib Silat Road (or Silat Road Sikh Temple) was the first Sikh temple built in Singapore to feature a dome
and arches in its architectural design.
Located at Silat Road (later renamed Jalan Bukit Merah), it was completed in 1924.
The gurdwara was built to meet the demands of the growing Sikh community.
The gurdwara has been declared a historic site by the National Heritage Board.
