Climate
Singapore’s located near the equator and has a tropical climate, hot and humid with occasional showers through most parts of the year.
The Island City is ideal for those looking to enjoy the outdoor sunshine, sunbathing and water sports. For those who don't really like the sun, not to fear, most establishments in Singapore are
air-conditioned and there are lots of shades provided by the abundance of trees. So even taking a walk in the middle of the day to explore Singapore will be enjoyable.
Towards later part of the year from November to February is the monsoon season with lots of heavy rainfall. Showers can be sudden and heavy during this time of
the year, so remember to have an umbrella with you.
Temperature in Singapore averages between 22 to 35 degree Celsius (71.6 to 95 degree Fahrenheit) with a humidity averaging between 60 to 80%.
Drinking Water
Singapore’s water is portable and need not be boiled for drinking. It is perfectly safe to drink it directly off the tap.
