The largest suburban shopping complex in Singapore, VivoCity, is actually located outside of Singapore's central district on the outskirt. Other housing estates see suburban shopping centres with a wide variety of shops which also often contain a cineplex. Of course, small shops still rule the place at areas like Changi Village and Holland Village where you can find handicrafts, batik dresses, antiques and many more.
