MacRitchie, Peirce & Seletar Reservoirs
The three reservoirs are located around the central northern parts of Singapore.
Set amidst lush greenery, the scenic reservoirs are popular with Singaporeans looking to get away for a while
from busy city life.
MacRitchie is Singapore's very first reservoir.
Besides boardwalks surrounding the reservoir, there are also walking trails through the primary forest in the
Central Catchment Nature Reserve for those who wish to get closer to nature.
These trails range in distances from 3km to 11km.
Peirce is Singapore's second reservoir. The boardwalks comprising the Lower Peirce Trail will take you through
the forest then along the edge of the reservoir.
For those who prefer to view the forest from a vantage point, do not miss the TreeTop Walk. This is a walkway
comprising of a 250m long free-standing suspension bridge between the two highest points in MacRitchie.
You will have a bird's eye view of the forest and all that lives within. The TreeTop Walk is accessible from Venus Drive
which is off Upper Thomson Road.
