Singapore Discovery Centre
Singapore Discovery Centre was officially opened by the late Singapore President Ong Teng Cheong on 23 November 1996.
It was originally intended to showcase the history of the Singapore Armed Forces but later evolved into today's Singapore
Discovery Centre which tells the Singapore Story.
The Singapore Discovery Centre has five main galleries spread over an area of 4,500 square metres.
Highlights include Gateway, Security Pavilion, So Singapore Theatre, Visionarium, Unity Pavilion and Enterprise Pavilion.
The centre also has an iWerks Theatre screening 2D and 3D movies, and a shooting gallery for aspiring marksmen.
