Singapore City Gallery
Do you find yourself drawn to miniature models, especially those of buildings or cityscapes? If so, you have to visit the
Singapore City Gallery.
The gallery offers a bird's eye view of the whole of Singapore seen through a 100mē architectural
model that comes with its own special light and sound show.
Singapore City Gallery occupies three levels at the Urban Redevelopment Authority centre. The gallery is divided into five
different thematic areas - Orientation, History, Conservation and Heritage, Planning, and City Centre.
These sections offer visitors a look at urban planning and design in Singapore, how Singapore transformed from a fishing
village to the metropolis that it is today, and the efforts that have been taken to preserve our built heritage through
the conservation of our architectural treasures.
With a combination of over 50 interactive exhibits and touch-screen terminals, your visit to the gallery is guaranteed to be
an enriching experience.
