The idea of building a comprehensive website about Singapore in the style of a travel guide was conceived about 5 years ago.  It has to be like a travel guide but not exactly or completely like one. It has to be comprehensive in providing sufficient and useful information while at the same time interactive allowing visitors to mingle, chat online, view or upload photos, participate in forum discussions and join in the fun of publishing/posting news, events and activities that they know and has a strong iking to share with everyone.

The end game is a website that is participative, easy to navigate and useful to all visitors.

We never really got down to doing it because of work commitments and lack of what all of us doesn't have - TIME.  Who is this "we"?  Just 2 ordinary Singaporeans wanting to build a dream website of our country and home that is dear to our hearts.

Finally we got down to doing it and the challenge we gave ourselves was to fill the site with as much information and pictures as possible making browsing the site an informative, visually appealing and enjoyable experience for all.

   is thus born......

It is going to be a massive project that will take more than a year to complete.  It has to be self sustaining too - meaning pay for itself with  income from advertisement and sponsors the time it goes "LIVE".... otherwise, it is going to come out of our own pockets....

The launch date is nearing and thus the need to pen down how this project started. The discussion forum, online chat, photo gallery and news publishing facilities are all installed, configured, tested and ready to go LIVE.
